The Vintage Vehicle Club of Australia was formed in 1977 with 10 foundation members, and is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and use of vintage vehicles that was built from 1919 to 1930 inclusive.

 

The club meets in the Veteran Car Club room 134 Queens Road, Five Dock, NSW on the first Thursday of each month, starting at 8 pm.  Anyone interested in these vehicles is welcome to attend our meetings and join us on monthly runs.

 

Membership is open to members of the public, with membership forms being obtainable from each member of the committee.

 

Each month we hold a "run" to different locations throughout Sydney.  The use of our vintage cars, trucks and motor cycles is always encouraged.

 

Once a year we have a "Hub Rally" to a location outside of Sydney where we stop for three or four nights and tour throughout that locality.  In previous years we have been to Maitland, Bathurst and Foster.

 

Also once a year we hold our "Annual Tour" stopping one or more nights along a route of approximately 1200 miles, over one to two weeks.  In previous years we have been to Armidale, Coffs Harbor, Mildura, Swan Hill, Coonabarabran, Beechworth, Lakes Entrance, Phillip Island and Tasmania.

 

We have many different makes that regularly attend our tours and runs.

For example, Model A Ford, Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, Dodge, Chrysler, Pontiac, Marquette, Nash, Essex, Sunbeam, Alvis, Bayliss Thomas, Hupmobile, Fiat, Studebaker, De Soto, Whippet, Armstrong Siddeley, Rolls Royce.

 

All makes of vintage vehicles and their proud owners are very welcome to join us.
